Born in Manchester and graduating from Cardiff University in 2009, James specialised in product photography working with an array of e-commerce clientele such as; Worldstores and Christopher Ward London.
James moved to London in 2012 and worked as a photographer in the e-commerce area of fashion, TV and PR including stints with Optomen Media and STV. James is passionate about LGBT culture and fashion journalism. He is thrilled to have launched the gay answer to Tatler, Queen and Country.
Robert cut his teeth in journalism working for Trinity Mirror Newspapers in the North, including the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo, before getting a taste of country life as a reporter for the Gloucestershire Echo.
Robert has since worked as a freelance in London and Sydney, both as a journalist and in PR and communications, and has written for the Guardian, the Independent and the Huffington Post among others.
R K Williams
Originally from Leeds, Robert studied Art and Fashion Design before working in the costume department at Opera North. After working with Vivienne Westwood, he established his career as a freelance TV costume designer and stylist.
After living in New York he returned to London to work on QI and the Friday Night Project. Now a resident in the Wiltshire countryside his rural surroundings have inspired his latest project: a new sci-fi space novel The Ozone Hotel.
When he's not walking Walter, his beloved French Bulldog around the rolling hills of Calne, or travelling the globe with his day job, Michael can be found in the kitchen developing new recipes and delighting friends and family with his tasty, honest fare.
From a British Maltese family, yet born and bred in Gloucestershire, Michael's tastes are wide-ranging and international in flavour. As resident foodie here at Q&C HQ, Michael will each month be bringing us all the latest culinary trends along with the best recipes throughout the seasons, suitable for any occasion.
Dr Mark Pakianathan
Born in Scotland, Mark graduated from the University of Aberdeen in medicine before specialising as a sexual health physician, becoming one of the youngest consultants in the country at 31.
An advocate for compassionate societies, Mark is also a gay men's health activist and Dad to lovely Keeshond Milo. Mark is passionate about human rights and the health and well-being of the LGBT community. He writes regularly for health publications and is often featured in TV documentaries. Although based in London, Mark loves the British countryside and is most at peace among trees.
Michael has several years experience working in the home, interiors and design industry as well as being a true garden enthusiast. He has the knowledge, innovative design ideas and precise eye for detail necessary to turn your home into your dream country abode. He is also our go-to man for advice on what plants to recommend in a garden crisis.
Based in Hampshire, Michael is a DIY expert and an upcycling fanatic, often found re-purposing old and unwanted items into must-haves around the home and garden. Not afraid to get his hands dirty, Michael will be sharing interiors and design insights each month, while bringing you the latest on what's hot, and what's not.
