Back again this August in the beautiful grounds of Blenheim palace in Oxfordshire is Countryfile Live, set to be one of the biggest and most exciting events this summer. The four-day event hosted by the presenters of the BBC TV programme is packed with features celebrating everything we love about the great British Countryside, including wildlife, delicious foods, farming, arts and crafts, music, sports and endless shopping – making this a summer favourite for everyone.

The BBC's Countryfile programme this year celebrates its 30th anniversary. Focusing on different people, places, and stories from the heart of the British countryside, the show includes a range of features on rural, agriculture and environmental issues and continues to be a ratings winner.

Legendary presenter John Craven said of this year's live event: “This year is the third year of Countryfile Live, and it only gets bigger and better. We have a Summer Party on the Saturday night that I’m very much looking forward to and visitors can also go behind-the-scenes of the programme and find out how we make Countryfile.”

As well as an opportunity to get all the secrets from the making of Countryfile, visitors can also join in a whole host of activities including dog and horse shows, fishing and kayaking, 4x4 off-road driving, cooking demonstrations, exciting talks and debates, timber sports, a hot air balloon and plenty more. A Summer Party taking place exclusive to the Saturday evening will be headlined by British country music duo The Shires.
